In 2012 year, the United States Postal Service issued a stamp featuring one of the oldest images of the USS Constitution to commemorate the War of 1812. The USS Constitution Museum is presenting First Day Cover Cachets with both this year's bicentennial stamp and the 150th anniversary Constitution stamp issued in 1947. Measures 3 1/2" x 6 1/2."

This First Day Cover Cachet features an image of the USS Constitution defeating the HMS Guerriere. The reverse side includes the story of Guerriere's defeat and the origin of Constitution's nickname, "Old Ironsides."
